Many people new to WordPress have yet to grasp just how important it is that you create copies of your site. This can and often will help WordPress site owners avoid the mind-numbing pain of having your site disappear. Let's look at some ways to prevent this doomsday scenario!
I back up my blogs using a plugin WP DB Backup. I can always restore my website if anything happens. I use WP Security Scan free plugin to scan my site frequently and WordPress Firewall to block asks that are suspicious-looking to fix hacked wordpress site.
The stronger approach, and the one I personally recommend, is to use one of the generation and storage plugins available for your browser. I believe after a free trial period, you need to pay for it, although people like RoboForm. I use the free version of Lastpass, and I recommend it for those who use Firefox or Internet Explorer. Move your wp-config.php file up one directory from the WordPress root. WordPress will look for it if it can't be found in the root directory. Also, nobody else will have the ability to read the file unless they've FTP or SSH access to your server.
